I despised watching movies as a child, but that has changed. I have been playing a lot of catch-up these past few years and finally watched some incredible works. One of my favorites is Jordan Peele’s movie Get Out.

San Francisco
I spent the summer 2024 in San Francisco, CA. I was there as an undergraduate student intern within The Academy of Goodby Silverstein and Partners. But I gained so much more than creative thinking, strategy, and art direction skills. I gained new perspectives. I gained new friends. I improved my public transit and navigation skills. I gained confidence. I learned more about myself and others than I could have ever expected in one summer. My very first animation was inspired by SF- a place that i’m so lucky to have experienced.
Moon Song
Like I mentioned on my About page, my playlist ranges from Yeah! to Moon Song. This one hurts in the best possible way. The only real responses after listening are to cry, sit in awe of the lyricism, or somehow do both at once.
As Phoebe Bridgers once said, “I wish I wrote it, but I didn’t, so I’ll learn the words.” That’s exactly how I feel. Here’s an animation inspired by this wonder of a song.
Labcorp
Lei Xiao and I created 10 social media animations for Labcorp to use across LinkedIn and Instagram. We communicated Labcorp as the best lab partner for health systems in the US by emphasizing the companies strong track record of partnerships, its use of science and data, and its services for patients.
